According to local authorities, fifty three individuals have survived the accident of 67 passengers planes in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh authorities reported the death of 38 people in the crash.
Azerbaijan Airlines flight J2-8243 airliner was using runway desperately to make an emergency landing near the Kazakh city of Aktau when it caught fire.
A footage of the aeroplane flying steadily towards the ground as it dips downwards with landing gear deployed and then exploding upon landing.
According to the airline representative, the plane “fell emergency” about 3km (1.9 miles) from Aktau.
It took off from the Azerbaijani capital Baku at 03:555 GMT on Wednesday, and crashed around 06:28, according to data obtained from the flight-tracking website Flightradar24.
Some anonymous sources from Russian media informed that the aircraft might have had an accident with a birds flock before the crash.
Azerbaijan Airlines said Amounts for Baku- Grozny and Baku-Makhachkala will be suspended while investigation procedures are underway.
Authorities stated that black box flight recorder: a device used to record information about an aircraft flight had been retrieved.
The passengers were primarily Azerbaijani citizens, although there were also Russian, Kazakh and Kyrgyz passengers on board.
One of the female victims was a woman visiting her children, the accident occurred on her way to spend the holidays in Chechnya, a republic of which Grozny is the capital. Even one woman with the kids’ medical tests are still captured, was found gone while traveling with a sick child.
A young woman extended her grief to the BBC’s Azerbaijani service cries she is still struggling to find out what happened to her father who was on board the flight.
She went on to say that her father has been travelling with his son who was alive after the crash. The son was also able to reach their sister but their father was still missing.
Raw online videos that had not been authenticated captured the survivors wriggling out of the debris, some with wounded bodies.
The authorities of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have opened a criminal case in relation to the event. Embraer said in a statement to the BBC it was “willing to cooperate with all competent agencies”.
The BBC has also sent an email to Azerbaijan Airlines seeking their response to the matter.
Boeing has a major competitor in the form of Airbus, and a slightly weaker rival in the shape of Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, who has also proven to have significantly high safety benchmarks.
