Minnesota Gov Tim Walz and Ohio Sen JD Vance will face each other in the only scheduled vice presidential debate today Tuesday.
The two will debate CO exactly a few weeks down the ball as former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris did at the ABC News presidential debate.
This is an opportunity for both Walz and Vance, to display their political skills, pronounce their partners’ visions for the country and reintroduce themselves to the American people after touring the country for many months in campaign trail.
How to watch the debate
The only scheduled face-off between the vice presidential nominees is the CBS News debate planned for 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 1 in New York.
CBS will host the 90 minutes debate will also air it on the ABC networks and live on ABC News Live.
ABC pre-debate programming starts right at 8:00 p.m. ET; post-debate ABC News programming will air until 11:00 p.m. ET.
ABC News Live, the round-the-clock streaming news service of ABC News, will have a live feed from 7 p.m. ET until 12 a.m. ET.

Leading the debate will be “CBS Evening News” anchor and managing editor, Norah O’Donnell, and “Face the Nation” moderator and CBS News chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan.

The Walz-Vance debate, like the Harris-Trump debate, will in front of a nearly empty studio without a live audience and while you won’t be muted every time you stop to speak, the moderators retain the right to mute you.
How Seriously The Candidates Are Preparing?
Vance has been finding company in Minnesota Rep, Tom Emmer to help him in debate rehearsals by pretending to be Walz sources say. The Ohio senator has also had meetings with his staff and Jason Miller a senior strategist of Trump’s campaign.
Second, Vance has spent the last month going over debate prep, plans, and possible questions, an insider privy to the senator’s coaching said.
Walz has also staged some mock debates with Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg as Vance’s mimic, ABC News said. Walz has also met in policies with his long term staffers, Biden White House and members of Harris Walz campaign team.
